Cosgrove and Jaynes could appeal against the dismissal, which would review the LMPD merit board and eventually lead to a public hearing.

No officer involved in the raid is charged with Taylor’s actual murder. Only one of the three officers – Brett Hankison – was charged in connection with the shooting.
