Billie Eilish’s new documentary The world’s a bit hazy is filled with insight into the 19-year-old musician’s life. One example: when Eilish meets Orlando Bloom, she assumes he ‘is just a guy’.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the February 26 Apple TV + documentary features a moment from the 2019 Coachella Festival, where Eilish performed and came across Katy Perry, 36, who introduces her to fiancée Orlando, 44. However, because Perry did not refer to the Lord of the Rings Eilish, namely actor, did not know that she met Bloom.

“No, bring him back,” Eilish says after realizing her oversight (and consulting a photo on the internet for proof). “I want to meet him again. He kissed me on the cheek! I did not know it was him. I thought it was a guy who met Katy Perry.”

Fortunately, Eilish has the opportunity to redo her acquaintance with Bloom and exchange a hug. “Oh my lord, I love you.”

According to People, the documentary also reveals details about Eilish’s ex-boyfriend, rapper 7: AMP, whose real name is Brandon Adams. Cameras pick up the singer and say to her boyfriend (who she calls ‘Q’): ‘I love you and I’m in love with you’, although they do tear up.

“I do love him, which made it harder. I’m not about him, I did not find anyone else,” she said in the footage. “I did not stop loving him. I just spent some time away from him and was like, ‘Wow, I miss you so much because I’m worried about you all the time and do not want it. what you want and you do not want what I want. “I do not want to fix him. I can not fix him. I tried.”

Director RJ Cutler tells The Independent that the film captures a very specific period. “I have always been interested in this moment of life where you have one foot in childhood and one in adulthood,” he said. ‘And here is this extraordinary artist on the brink of so many things. Forget being a pop star, she’s also a girl becoming a woman. ‘
