The first weeks of President Biden’s administration were a striking contrast to the chaos and unrest of the Trump administration, which brought a sense of normalcy back into the White House and the administration.
Biden, along with Vice President Harris, begins receiving the president’s daily assignment each day, usually before 10 p.m. His administration revived the White House’s daily briefings every weekday.
And when he signed executive action, it was usually linked to events where the president made written comments on policy, and he rarely answered screaming questions from reporters.
The White House also regularly sends out press releases that look familiar. In the early days of the presidency, he issued a statement acknowledging National Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month – a day that was regularly marked by previous governments but ignored under Trump.

Trump’s White House has been characterized from the start by loud shots, tweets and fights that generate intense and constant press coverage. Trump’s decisions and actions were unpredictable, even among his staff, which were different from Biden’s with outsiders.

It’s not all fun, because Biden, who linked himself to a moderate Democrat during the campaign, is facing the expected pressure from left and right as he sets his agenda.
There have been well-known policy and political disputes, ranging from the scope and content of the COVID-19 mitigation measure – Republicans have taken the prize – to whether Biden goes too far in limiting oil and gas drilling to reduce climate change.

There is a striking contrast to Capitol Hill, where tensions remain high one month after an angry pro-Trump crowd attacked the Capitol. However, Democratic strategist Eddie Vale argued that voters are likely to hold Biden’s signals so far as a welcome break.
‘Just a sense of normality and routine makes people feel better, but it’s actually the most effective because it’s also added with competence that already shows that people are going to come back with action – or dare I say to rebuild better – of this recession and pandemic, ”he said.
