A plastic surgeon in Beverly Hills died of COVID-19 … and it seems to be entirely because he was able to continue working on patients during a pandemic.
Dr. Payman Simoni – who appeared in the show “The Doctors” – died while being admitted to hospital in LA – after contracting the virus during a cosmetic procedure on a patient who was apparently positive … so say family sources .
We are told that dr. Simoni did a lip injection on a woman last month … of course an elective procedure. She was temperature controlled and completed a COVID questionnaire. She was not tested.

As the doctor hovers over the maskless woman, our sources say she has coughed in his face. He’s wearing his mask, but still … she sprays on him. She contacted the office a few days later to inform them that she had tested positive for COVID.
Dr Simoni then goes into quarantine and begins to experience symptoms – shortness of breath, etc. In short, he was in a ventilator at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. We are told that dr. Simoni was eventually placed in a medically induced coma because his lungs began to fail. He died Friday of a brain haemorrhage.

This is a warning story … one that could have been avoided if the city of Beverly Hills had not passed a resolution allowing offices for cosmetic surgery to remain open while matters continued to increase. Some documents chose to hold out – others, of course, did not.
Simoni was 50.
