Assisin’s Creed Valhalla’s expected River Raid update will drop on PS5 and PS4 tomorrow, Ubisoft has confirmed (this is February 16th, to be clear). Officially titled Title Update 1.1.2, the patch will include the new River Raid activity, as well as a number of new unlocking skills, general game improvements, and bug fixes. This is a fairly large download on Sony’s systems, weighing 11 GB on PS5 and 10 GB on PS4.

YULE SEASON: RIVER RAIDS GAME MODE

We added support for River Raids in the game.

  • Prepare your Jomsviking crew for this new, highly repeatable mode that will take you to unexplored regions of England, full of raids. New loot, rewards and challenges await the Raven Clan!
  • The River Raids Mode is part of the Yule Season content. It’s free for all Assassin’s Creed® Valhalla players, and is accessible in the game after the title Update 1.1.2 is downloaded.

NEW ABILITY

  • Berserker Trap:It attaches a trap to your arrow and disperses hallucinatory powder. Any movement in the environment causes the trap to drop. Surprise clueless passers-by!
  • War cry:In a fit of rage, Eivor lets out a blood-curdling scream, gains strength and causes enemies in the area to stumble backwards in fear, interrupting their attacks.
  • Shoulder base:Eivor performs a shoulder bash that repulses enemies and destroys objects.

NEW SKILLS

  • Killer wears:Carry a body automatically after a successful assassination.
  • Assassin’s Disc:Move into enemies and knock them off balance as they run.
  • Power stroke:Pull a quick boost on the long ship at the expense of endurance.
  • Arrow Looter:Eivor has a greater chance of looting arrows from archers.
  • Fight ready:Always start a fight with an adrenaline-filled slot.
  • Longship prop:If you lead the long ship, the crew will lift their shield with you.

GAME IMPROVEMENTS

MISCELLANEOUS

  • Runes and resources used to upgrade Berserker equipment will be returned to the player’s inventory if an item is lost.
  • Improved vibration feedback during fishing. Fishing goes BRRRR.
  • Fixed issue that caused players to exit disguise mode if players make any attack while driving.
  • An issue preventing players from catching fish in the sea or on the shoreline has been addressed.
  • Addressed an issue that caused the fish to take long after one was caught.
  • Items purchased in the Animus Store will only be given to players after returning from Vinland to England.
  • Modified predator attack animations to give players a little more time to react.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented dust from being available. Everyone liked it.
  • Date of purchase has been added to items owned in the department of the store.

BALANCE

  • Diamond rune slots removed from gear pieces other than torsos. Runes classified herein are returned to the player inventory.

GRAPHICS, SOUND AND ANIMATION

  • Addressed various graphic or lighting issues.
  • Several texture issues were addressed.
  • Fixed issue that caused explosion of VFX when oil tanks exploded. Oil jugs are now going to BOOM.
  • (PS4 ™ / PS5 ™) The Muspell Warg Mountain will now burn with the fires of Hell!
  • The blood of your enemies will now make all clothes dirty.
  • Addressed various character or NPC animation issues.
  • Various cut-out cases were addressed.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented the visual effects of the Draugr series from being displayed.
  • Addressed an issue that caused arrows to disappear from the quiver after the bow was re-equipped from the stock.

QUESTIONS, WORLD OPPORTUNITIES AND UPDATE

  • Storming the Walls addressed an issue preventing players from completing the quest. Gunnar decided to take part in the festivities in The First Night of Samhain, which will allow players to complete the quest. Party time!
  • Addressed an issue that killed NPCs in The Good Men of Sherwood World Event. Oo-de-lally, oo-de-lally, golly, what a day.
  • Jomsviking equipment will now display their quality properly in the customization page.
  • Fixed an issue that could cause Jomsviking to change shapes and sizes in the menu when recruited.
  • Randvi is ready to hear the news after completing the Sciropescire Arc, which could complete the alliance.
  • An issue that prevented players from communicating with Tove after completing the torch.
  • Addressed an issue that caused some dice to be reused when both players used the Godfavor to give out three additional dice. Nothing more in your sleeve.
  • Addressed an issue with the Fishmonger encounter that prevented the search from being marked as complete after the murder was confirmed.
  • Players will be no more than if they escape before fighting the Bard in The Devil Has All the Best Tunes.
  • Players loading a snippet created after pressing Clues and Riddles will now be able to complete the goal.
  • Addressed an issue in the extended family that caused the boss to inflict no damage during underground attacks.
  • Addressed an issue in the Extended Family that caused the boss to get stuck near walls, stay underground, or not fight at all.
  • Addressed an issue that prevented the member from making the final order known. No more Revealio!
  • Addressed an issue in Binding Fate that prevented players from completing the boss encounter, as the boss could get stuck underground.
  • Addressed an issue in Binding Fate that prevented players from completing the quest after talking to Tyr.
  • An issue in War Weary brought attention to players who were prevented from completing the quest after defeating all NPCs outside.
  • Addressed an issue that caused all Order members to be killed after killing a Zealot. This is perhaps just the wildest problem ever seen.
  • An issue in The Big Finish alerted players who were unable to complete the quest when visiting the hideout before embarking on the quest.
  • Addressed an issue in Blood from a Stone that prevented players from moving a stack of cargo.
  • Addressed an issue in The Prodigal Prince that caused the goal to remain stuck as Eivor killed the first practice dummy before reaching the checkpoint.
  • Addressed an issue that prevented players from interacting with Gotafrid Fair-Robes after fights, as the players threw them into the river. Yeeeeeet!
  • Addressed an issue in The Twit Saga Part I, where the house sometimes did not catch fire and that players could not complete the world meet.
  • Addressed an issue in Degolas the Beautiful that greatly made the child grow. HOLD OUT.
  • Addressed an issue in Degolas the Beautiful that prevented Degolas from leaving the water.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented players from connecting to NPCs for Settlement.
  • An issue in Crushed Dreams has drawn attention to players who were able to complete the World Cup as the woman is in a dead state. Quest name check out.
  • Addressed an issue that caused the world map to be unavailable after talking to Ceolwulf.

GAMEPLAY, CONTROL, and AI

  • Several NPC behavioral issues were addressed.
  • Mounts will heed Eivor’s call from the Quick Actions Wheel.
  • Fixed issue that caused NPCs to die before being hit. Call an emergency meeting.
  • Addressed issue that caused Eivor to finally stand on their toes after being idle for a while. Eivor and pointe.
  • Addressed an issue that caused decorative elements to spawn in miniature form.
  • Fixed an issue that allowed players to access Nodens’ Arc using save / load actions. It had to be done.

AUDIO

  • (PS4 ™) addressed an issue that caused crackling noises to be heard.
  • Addressed an issue that caused dead swarms to make idle noises. I know an Animus error when I see one.

PHOTO MODE

  • Fixed issue that caused the photo mode frames not to enlarge according to the size of the game window.
  • Fixed issue that caused issues with the delivery of sites when the camera was moved.

USER INTERFACE / SKIN

  • Addressed several UI / HUD issues.
  • Fixed an issue that caused Premium Start Pack items to appear in fine rather than mythical quality.
  • After meeting Cola, their appropriate icon will be displayed on the Order tab.
  • A problem has been resolved that caused acquired Reda contracts to appear under the Cent quest log section.
  • Addressed an issue that caused contracts not to count for the Viking for Hire claim.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented players from communicating with any items in Reda’s store when Focused Navigation was enabled.
  • Players will be able to switch targets with the mouse wheel using M and K.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the stick import to stall after enabling the Swap Sticks option during Cairns.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the call to appear every time a whistle was blown to attract enemies.
  • A problem was solved when D-Pad was pressed, causing Daily Concept Art to remain.
  • Addressed an issue that caused several Daily Concept Art to be displayed on the world map.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the mouse pointer not to display when switching back to M&K after using the controller as a single source.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented Order of Antique Icons from changing based on selected color blind settings.
  • An issue that caused control conflicts in Photo mode was addressed when the swap option was set to ON.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the subtitle move value to not return to the default value.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the exploration issues to be reset to Adventurer instead of Explorer when the default was reset.
  • An issue that prevented the adrenaline bar from being filled after the second assassination was carried out with chain murders has been addressed.
  • Added a fishing button while aiming.
  • Address various cases where Odin’s Sight has highlighted props that it should not.
  • Fixed an issue that caused “data corrupt” errors after entering the save menu.
  • An issue that prevented the ingot looted from the destroyer (Hamptun Blockade) from being counted on to complete prosperity.
  • Fixed issue that caused Fly Agar puzzles not to be highlighted with the appropriate puzzle icon.

SYSTEM

  • Fixed an issue that caused online service errors to appear when you create or hover over photos.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the game to crash during loading after it entered the save / load menu.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the MSI voice command feature to stop working after saving / loading.

PERFORMANCE AND STABILITY

  • Improved performance and stability.
