In the new black-and-white lapel, Angelina, dressed in a sleeveless white top, is seen sitting at the table while her children sit down to a delicious meal.

The photo was taken when British Vogue editor-in-chief Edward Enninful caught the actress in her home in LA discussing her family and work.

In the accompanying interview, Angelina reflects on her life since the end of her 12-year relationship with Brad.

The humanitarian has been unmarried since she divorced fellow sister Brad in September 2016, after two years of marriage.

The former couple are said to be ‘in a better place’ after struggling with finances and custody of their children.

Angelina admitted that she “does not know” if she is currently happy, and insisted on Vogue that she has a positive outlook on the future.

The Girl, Interrupted star, said: ‘The last few years have been pretty difficult. I focused on healing our family. It comes back slowly, like the ice melting and the blood returning to my body.

‘I’m looking forward to my fifties – I feel like I’m going to beat my pace in my fifties. Although we were on the trampoline the other day, and the kids said, ‘No, Mom, don’ t do this. You will hurt yourself. ” And I thought, ” God, isn ‘t that funny? ”

“There was a day when I was an action star, and now the kids are telling me to get off the trampoline because I’ll hurt myself.”

Angelina insists she does not consider herself a ‘traditional stay-at-home mom’ because she was’ never very good at sitting still ‘, but she acknowledges to her six children that she helped her mother’s journey’.

The Tomb Raider icon looked after her career with her children and told the publication: ‘Well, I could never sit still.

“Even though I wanted to have many children and be a mother, I always imagined, like Jane Goodall, that I was traveling somewhere in the jungle. I did not imagine it in that true, traditional sense.

‘I feel like I do not have enough skills to be a traditional mother at home. I get it right because the kids are pretty resilient and they help me, but I’m not good at it at all. ‘

Angelina filed for dismissal of her marriage to Brad in 2016 and said in an interview with Vogue India in June 2020 that it was for ‘the well-being of my family’, adding that it was the right decision. ‘

It was reported at the time that Pitt ended up in a violent screaming fight with Jolie, which prompted the eldest son Maddox (19) to defend his mother.

Jolie was granted temporary custody of all six children and Brad granted visitation rights with a site designated by the court.

In 2018, a court ruled in favor of Brad after he alleged that Angelina prevented the children from having a constant relationship with him. He was given a temporary summer supervision that enabled him to spend time with the children without Jolie being there.

She then claims that he paid ‘significant’ child support for more than a year in the summer, to which Pitt replied that he had lent Angelina $ 8 million and given an additional $ 1.8 million to help bills.

The custody hearing was due to begin in November 2018, but the two reached an agreement instead, with ET reporting that it was in the best interests of the children and eliminated the need for a hearing.

Pitt received less than 50 percent custody of the children, despite wanting equal custody, which prompted him to keep fighting for what he sees fit in another trial.

The couple was ruled ‘legally alone’ in April 2020, but the status did not finalize the divorce or custody battle.

Brad continues to oversee a joint trial scheduled for October, when he compiles a list of more than 20 witnesses to strengthen his case.

The couple has already decided that Maddox is not considering a supervisor and can decide when he wants to see Brad as he is no longer a minor.

Many details of the trial have been kept under surveillance, although a decision is expected to be expected during their next trial which will take place on December 21.

In her latest interview with Vogue, the Unbroken star also touched on her role as the special envoy of the UN refugee agency.

Angelina recounts: ‘In my early twenties, I started putting on my boots and backpack and going to find out what the hell was going on in the world.

‘I tried to give myself a wider education than I had in school. I grew up in a very empty place in many ways, so I had to gain a broader understanding. ‘

The activist conceded that she believes that the perception of refugees has’ worsened ‘over time and explains:’ We speak as if refugees are a burden. But they had to adapt. They have a different skill set, a different look in their eyes.

“They have confronted their own humanity in such a profound way. They faced tribulation. We must respect their struggle. Honor the people who fled from bombs and protected their children. ‘

She emphasized the importance of teaching children global citizenship, adding: ‘They come from all over the world. When I see Mad in Cambodia, it’s his house.

“He is a Cambodian man, and at the same time he is an American citizen and a world citizen. But it is important not only for him to go there, but also for his brothers and sisters to go there.
