Wrestling Inc. was the first to report that Andrade had submitted an official request for a WWE release during the most recent RAW recordings on March 8th. As expected, the internet flooded details about Andrade’s WWE status and immediate future.
PWInsider, a commonly trusted source on such matters, has independently confirmed the story with several WWE sources. A person close to the situation told PWInsider that Andrade looked ‘absolutely awful’ on RAW this past Monday.

What went wrong for Andrade in WWE?
WWE signed Andrade in 2015, and from the start, the valued wrestler is expected to be the company’s next big Spanish star.
The intention of the promotion to make Andrade a massive name became apparent when El Idolo got an NXT championship period.
In honor of WWE, the company did a great job of building the alliance between Andrade and Zelina Vega in the black-and-gold brand. However, they could not repeat the magic on the main roster.
Andrade received his call in 2018 with Zelina Vega, and the duo showed a lot of promise during the early days.
El Idolo won the U.S. title along the way, and many believed the former NXT champion was protected from pressure on the line. The appointment of Paul Heyman as CEO of RAW also looked like a blessing.
Heyman likes the Mexican Superstar and wants him to be a leading man on the red brand. It all went well until WWE decided to remove the former ECW boss from the role of CEO of RAW.
To make matters worse, Vince McMahon apparently did not see much in Andrade. It is also no coincidence that the Superstar was drafted in the WWE draft for 2020.
