Danger! Mike Richards, executive producer, announced the latest hosts and Anderson Cooper, Savannah Guthrie, dr. Mehmet Oz and dr. Sanjay Gupta mentioned as the latest television personalities who have done the trivia games program at the helm of affairs.
The newly announced hosts along with Bill Whitaker, Mayim Bialik, Katie Couric and Aaron Rodgers will take over the ems list after the death of Alex Trebek. As part of the time each host was on the program, Danger! will make a donation to a charity of their choice. The amount donated will be equal to the cumulative profits of participants competing during the weeks they host.
“We look forward to each host bringing their unique abilities to the show and our participants winning a lot of money that they can compare to charity,” Richards said.
Although a majority of the newly announced hosts did not appear in the trivia show themselves, Cooper has previously competed Threat! ‘S Power Players Tournament in 2012 and 2016.
After Trebek’s death in November, Danger! alumnus Ken Jennings and Richards alternated as hosts. Jennings initially joined the current season as an advisory producer.
