Ana de Armas’ heart chain is on again, but her relationship with Ben Affleck is not.
When the No time to die actress (32), went out with Affleck last year, they would wear matching necklaces that, if put together as a whole, would be beautifully put together. On Sunday, she shared a selfie in which she was wearing the same accessory, which led to immediate speculation on social media that she and her Deep water co-star (48) was together again. They are not.
A few hours after she posted the first photo, she shared another one that said the words ‘no’, ‘no’ and ‘I do not think so’ over and over.
The breakup of Affleck and de Armas was announced in January – and shortly thereafter, he cleaned house and dumped a life-size poster of her in the trash outside his home in LA. “They have different points in their lives,” a source said People magazine of the father of three and his younger love. The relationship was “complicated”, the source said, because the Cuban actress did not want to live in Los Angeles, where Affleck lives there to be close to his children with former Jennifer Garner.
Affleck’s brother, Casey, praised the “charming” de Armas after the outbreak, saying the pandemic was difficult in relationships and predicted that his brother’s ex “would have no trouble” going out.
Affleck and de Armas feel for each other as they make Deep water early in 2020, and then memorably quarantined during the pandemic. There would be daily photos of them walking with their dogs – usually with Affleck carrying a drink from Dunkin. Sometimes they wore their matching necklaces.
And she seems to be happy to wear hair, even though she is no longer attached to the owner of the other half.
