American Airlines announced the behavior of two passengers who allegedly started fighting with another traveler who asked them to stop using a racial stir during a recent flight from Dallas to Los Angeles. The main carrier further announced that the two passengers may be placed on its list of non-flight planes.

A U.S. Airlines spokesman confirmed the incident Monday morning to Fox News, saying that Flight 776, which was en route from Dallas-Fort Worth to LAX on Feb. 24, landed in Phoenix early because of the altercation with the customer during the flight.

“Upon arrival, local law enforcement met the flight which removed two individuals and arrested them for verbally and physically assaulting other customers and flight crew members. Their behavior was disturbing and unacceptable, and they were placed on the internal garbage list pending further investigation. , ”The spokesperson said, revealing that an investigation is underway.

“We continue to investigate this incident and work directly with affected customers to ensure their well-being,” they added. “We thank our crew members for their professionalism in managing a difficult situation.”

The two travelers, identified by NBC News as Kelly Pichardo and Leeza Rodriguez, were arrested after arguing with an unnamed passenger and asking them to stop using a racial riot.

“Kelly Pichardo became upset and apparently spat at the male passenger who asked her to stop using the language,” according to a police statement that received the point of sale. “The male passenger started when the two women picked up, and that was when Leeza Rodriguez hit the man’s hand to stop him from recording the incident.”

Fox 10 Phoenix reports that Pichardo, 30, and Rodriguez, 29, are now accused of verbally and physically assaulting fellow passengers and crew members. Both women have been charged with disorderly conduct, while Pichardo is also facing an additional charge of assault via NBC.
