Amanda Kloots is delighted with the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine … and strikes back at the vaccine protectors

Her husband, Broadway star Nick Cordero, is dying of serious complications due to COVID-19 after a three-plus month long battle.

And now, nearly eight months after his tragic death, Cordero’s widow, Amanda Kloots, went to Instagram and shared the joyful news that she had received her first dose of Pfizer vaccine.

While most people applauded her for waiting patiently in a queue at the end of the workday to get a leftover Pfizer shot, the single would eventually feel the need to strike back at the vaccines that questioned how she qualifies for a vaccine in California.

The fitness instructor and co-presenter of The Talk began by sharing a photo of her receiving the vaccine in her left arm at a drive-through spot in Los Angeles.

“I just got my COVID 19 vaccine!” Kloots wrote with obvious joy in her words before explaining how she could ensure her vaccination.

‘I went to a yard and waited in my car until all appointments were over in the hope that there were extra vaccines. I was totally willing to be turned away, but they said they had enough tonight for everyone waiting. ‘

Since her husband only passed away last July after spending 95 days in a Los Angeles hospital, it’s easy to see why Kloots was so excited and humbled to get the vaccine.

“I can not tell you how emotional I was now. I had Elvis next to me and playing Live Your Life in the car, ‘she continues, referring to her 20-month-old son from her marriage to Cordero.

‘THANK YOU to the National Guard who have offered here since 05:30 to administer the Pfizer vaccine to willing arms. I’m scared to death since Nick passed away, as a single mother to contract this virus, and now I’m one step closer. Thanks to my friends @laurencpresent and @ thompoint0 for the management and to my side. ‘

Emotional: About an hour after her first message, Kloots posted a video explaining how she got the vaccine, even though she did not meet the age requirements for an appointment in California.

About an hour after she posted her first post, the 38-year-old posted a video explaining how someone can get a coronavirus vaccine if they show perseverance and patience.

‘In the first place, the vaccine should not be ashamed. “Everyone should get this vaccine and everyone who gets it should celebrate that another person gets the vaccine,” she begins in the track.

‘Secondly, I was driving in the hope of a vaccination site, and I knew I could possibly be turned away, but I drove and I waited in line in the hope that at the end of the day I would be on the end of appointments would wait. , they may have extra vaccines that would otherwise be discarded. ‘

When her voice began to rise with more emotion, Kloots continued: ‘And instead of being thrown out, they were put in an arm; an arm of a surviving single mother who deserves to have an extra vaccine that would be thrown in the trash. ‘

Moments later, Kloots once again made a video message in which she explained her heightened emotions and how she would have been ‘completely fine with the rejection’ of the remaining vaccine.

“Luckily the shot worked and was available. They were glad people were waiting there with willing arms, and I was glad to be one of those willing arms. So do not vaccinate me over my photo after this day, where I am so thankful that I vaccinated this first step against my virus. ‘

Nick Cordero was just 41 when he passed away last July after his long battle with complications of COVID-19.

During his life struggle, the Bullets Over Broadway star suffered from pneumonia, causing blood clotting doctors forced to amputate his right leg and severe damage to his lung, including serious health problems.
