Silicon Valley alumnus Alice Wetturlund responded to allegations of sexual misconduct against HBO series star Thomas Middleditch.

Allegations against Middleditch – currently starring in CBS ‘live-action comedy B Positive, and animated Hulu’s Sonstrandecame to light yesterday in a statement from the Los Angeles Times in which incidents of sexual misconduct at the Hollywood club Cloak & Dagger, which has since closed, are explained. In an interview with The Times, ten women – including four of Cloak & Dagger’s former employees – claim that co-founders Adam Bravin and Michael Patterson repeatedly ignored allegations of harassment by members such as Middleditch.
Hannah Harding spoke out specifically against the actor, who recalled that Middleditch had made a “disgusting sexual overture” against her and her friend on the night of October 22, 2019. Harding then said that Middleditch had her on the dance floor in front of her friends and a number of employees before touching another woman. At the time, Harding was 21.

In conversation with The Times, Harding also shared instant messages on Instagram from Middleditch. “Hannah, I had no idea that my actions were so strange to you … I know you probably just want to explode me like a monster …”, he apparently told her. “I do not expect you to be my friend or anything else. I’m so embarrassed that I made you uncomfortable. ‘
Sunday was not the first time Middleditch had been caught up in controversy, nor was it the first time Wetterlund had called him. In a 2019 interview with Playboy, the actor discussed the ‘swinger’ lifestyle he participated in with his then-wife, Mollie Gates.

On Silicon Valley, Wetterlund returned in the course of six deliveries as coder Carla Walton. The comedy, which was nominated by Emmy and Golden Globe, ended its sixth and final season in December 2019.
