Alec Baldwin must play himself in ‘SNL’ sketch about woman’s inheritance dispute: Trump Jr.

Donald Trump Jr. Wednesday suggested actor Alec Baldwin play himself in a “Saturday Night Live” sketch about his wife Hilaria’s scandal over her legacy.

“Alec Baldwin should play Alec Baldwin as SNL parodies his wife as the last few decades as if she’s Spanish, as opposed to the basic white girl from the Mass she actually is,” the president tweeted. “That would be the first funny thing that Saturday Night Live has yielded in years.”

Baldwin, 62, has played President Trump since calling his office in an impression as the president ‘common and not very funny’.

Hilaria Baldwin, 36, suffered a setback on social media this week for claiming she was from Spain in the past and that she used a Spanish accent in the past when she was born in Massachusetts.

A tweet that has since been removed and has sparked controversy reads: “You have to admire Hilaria Baldwin’s commitment to her decade – long experience of imitating a Spanish person.”

Comedian Joe Piscopo, who was a member of the “SNL” role in the 1980s, agreed with Trump Jr. and told Fox News, “We get offended too easily. Why did she do that? on ‘SNL’, I just say. ‘

There is no indication that the program will discuss the topic, and many say that producers will not touch on the topic due to Alec Baldwin’s ties to the program.

Hilaria Baldwin called the setback “surreal” and told The New York Times, “There’s nothing I do wrong, and I think there’s a difference between hiding and creating a boundary.”

Hilaria was born Hillary, but told the newspaper that family members had called her Hilaria for most of her life.

In defense of his wife, Alec Baldwin shared a quote from Mark Twain on Tuesday that read: “A lie can travel halfway through the world while the truth puts on its shoes.”

In April podcast Hilaria Baldwin said: ‘I moved here [to America] when I was 19 to go to NYU from … my family lives in Spain, they live in Mallorca. ‘

The bilingual mother of five’s accent has also changed noticeably over the years when she appeared on TV and in a 2015 clip from “Today” she apparently forgot the English word for “cucumber”.

Meanwhile, her CAA speaker page, Wikipedia and IMDB page have previously listed her native country as Spain. The talent agency has since removed any mention of her birthplace, while the latter has made two corrections. In her latest interview, Baldwin blamed false reporting, saying she had never actively presented her legacy.

She says she is bilingual and often speaks in different accents, depending on her mood. She also noted that she had not read articles about herself and was not aware that her ethnicity had been misreported.

As for the “cucumber” moment, she says she was simply nervous about being on live TV and had a ‘brain drain’.
