The 67th National Film Awards are announced today. The awards are for films from the year 2019.
Natural Star Nani, a highly acclaimed and commercially successful film Jersey, won two national awards, including Best Local Film. Editor Naveen Nooli also won the award.
Jersey is directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri under Sithara Entertainments. The film won precious other awards.
The director recreates Jersey in Bollywood with the same title. Shahid Kapoor stepped into Nani’s shoes for the Hindi version.
