14-year-old stabbed to Wahooz, evacuates entire building

The stabbing of a 14-year-old boy in Wahooz Family Fun Zone caused the building to be evacuated.

According to a press release from Wahooz, a quarrel took place between two groups of young adults around 18:30.

The Meridian police station says a young man was killed by an unknown male man and that further details are currently being investigated. The 14-year-old boy was transported to a nearby hospital for his injuries.

As of Saturday night, three ambulances were at the scene, along with two fire trucks and several police units.

Wahooz says the safety of staff and guests has never been at stake and the Wahooz Family Fun Zone remains open.

The Meridian police station said in a press release that they were asking the public for help in identifying the unknown male suspect. The Meridian police station says all that is known so far is that the suspect was wearing a black shirt and that they were driving a dark-colored BMW with Canyon County plates to Westland Road west.
