Zooming in on Google Maps shows people ‘committing crime’

Google Maps is an incredibly useful tool that enables us to plan routes for long journeys, test our geographical knowledge, and just generally have a curious location.

However, one TikTok user believes that they spotted people while recently committing a crime.

The user, nicknamed ‘Content Dropped’, shared a video showing a group in Poland stealing train tracks in broad daylight.

The video explains: ‘You will not believe what I just found.

“I thought I saw everything.”

The user zooms in on the map and shows a group of people carrying train tracks in a wheelbarrow over a train track.

The video continues: “But they are literally stealing train tracks.”

It has now been viewed thousands of times, and people have commented to share their utter disbelief about what appears to be a brave theft.

One user said: ‘They need to have an internal connection in the railway business, usually the tracks are welded together.’

While another trusted the group more in the photo, he added: “Maybe they help replace it.”

But this is not the first time that Google Maps has encountered something strange. Not far.

The couple were on their way to a remote mountain road in western Taiwan on their way to some natural art and presumably thought the Google Maps car was the least of their worries – but alas, they were in the wrong place at the wrong time. .

The street view was first shared on social media, along with the caption: “I looked on Google to see if I would not find animals, and unexpectedly came across this amazing sight!

“Google Maps is the greatest invention ever – it’s bigger than God. Big Brother look. You’re making babies and now we’re watching you.”

They made it a little more sinister than necessary if you ask me, but hey-ho.
