Zoo escapes German terror attack

It was almost a disaster.

A lion attacked a zoo in Germany on Sunday – and she was able to escape the horrific attack without major injuries, authorities said.

The unidentified 25-year-old woman, who works at the Osnabrück Zoo in Berlin, was cleaning the big cat’s cage at about 12am when police stormed her.

She was admitted to hospital but is not considered seriously injured.
