Zendaya jokes Malcolm & Marie may not be the best movie to watch on Valentine’s Day

She co-stars with John David Washington in the Netflix movie Malcolm & Marie.

And on Sunday, Zendaya shared some behind-the-scenes photos of the recording while joking about how the intense drama might not be the best choice for couples celebrating Valentine’s Day.

Malcolm & Marie is the work of actress’ Euphoria director Sam Levinson.

Zendaya plays the girlfriend of a filmmaker, played by Washington, and the intimate drama follows the couple as they explore their relationship during one night.

The 24-year-old actress was a producer of the project and was eager to promote it as much as possible on her social media.
