Zack Snyder may have just confirmed that his Justice League track would not premiere on HBO Max as a four-part series, but as a feature film.
Zack Snyder confirmed that his Justice League cut would not be released as a four-part series, despite what was announced earlier in DC 2020 in DC FanDome.
Snyder was asked by Vero user @bcthebeast whether Zack Snyder’s Justice League would be “a series or a one-shot.” The director responded ‘one shot’ and confirmed it Justice League would not be released as a four-part series, but rather as a four-hour film.
Snyder announced in August 2020 on DC FanDome that HBO Max would split his release Justice League cut into four one-hour episodes; a single four-hour episode of the episodes would be released later, exclusively on HBO Max. It now appears that this is not the case.
At the time of writing, there is no fixed release date for Zack Snyder’s Justice League, but Snyder allegedly sued Warner Bros. demanded for a theater release in 2021. A recent preview of HBO Max’s 2021 releases has given a glimpse into films that will hit theaters and the streaming service simultaneously this year – Zack Snyder’s Justice League was not on the list of movies.
