Fire up the Zack signal. Zack Snyder has announced the launch date for his four-hour reduction of Justice League.
Snyder took his official Twitter account to unveil two new posters for the ‘Snyder Cut’ HBO Max release, along with a definitive release date: March 18, 2021.
For some Snyder heads out there, this will not be particularly new news. The director had earlier said on social media site Vero that Zack Snyder’s Justice League would be released in March. Now it’s official.
In an interview with ComicBook.com, Snyder explained how much of his Justice League is new compared to the 2017 Joss Whedon-directed theatrical release – including reshoots involving Jared Leto’s Joker.
He said: “A very small part of the film is the new things I shot. Like 80 percent of the film, no one has ever been seen, and it’s not even the scenes you’ve never seen. seen without visual effects. “
It was a rocky road to get Zack Snyder’s Justice League, but we’re almost there in the end. What used to be a fan campaign designed to bring Snyder’s original vision to life after he left the project has turned into one of the most anticipated new superhero movies. There’s a new Superman-themed opening, a Martian Manhunter appearance, and more focus on Ray Fisher’s Cyborg.
There is still no word on plans for areas that do not have HBO Max. According to HBO Max: “Details on additional international release dates and plans will be announced as soon as they become available.” We will update this page as soon as we know more.
