Zach LaVine will not be an All-Star starter in 2021, but fans rooting for him to earn his first career choice should feel pretty good about his chances of getting a reserve spot after the voting results were announced Thursday night.
LaVine finishes fourth among Eastern Conference guards in the overall weighted vote, including fourth place in the fan rank (which makes up 50 percent of the final score), fifth in the media rank (25 percent) and third place in the player rank. (25 percent) with James Harden.
Coaches will now select seven reserves from each conference, to be announced on February 23rd.

No. When I step on the track, I think I’m the best player on the track, it’s just me.
“But the last few years I don’t think there are 12 better players in the conference than I do. And I try to make my game speak.”
