Radio host Kyle Sandilands has confirmed that Zac Efron and Vanessa Valladares are separated after a ten-month romance.
Rumors were rife that the 33-year-old actor and 25-year-old Byron Bay waitress had called their relationship time after a report Tuesday in The Daily Telegraph.
And a day later, Kyle (49) – who is good friends with Zac – revealed on live radio that it ‘was not just a rumor’ and said: ‘I can also confirm this after talking to him yesterday has.’

Kyle told co-host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson that he called the actor to talk about the upcoming Netflix show, Byron Baes.
There were rumors published on Woman’s Day that Zac was trying to get Vanessa on the influencer-focused ‘docu-soap’, which Kyle refused to believe.
When he asked his friend about the rumors, Zac apparently admitted that he and Vanessa were no longer together.
Kyle said that their split was ‘recent’ but not ‘yesterday’, and that there was ‘no drama’ in their diversity.
“It’s confirmed by Kyle,” Jackie concluded when Kyle claimed that Zac was just getting back on track and their busy lives were not in tune.
Kyle and Zac have been friends for years, and the Australian personality even attended his 33rd birthday in Byron Bay in October.
The High School Musical actor first met Vanessa while she was waiting in Byron Bay’s General Store & Café around June or July last year.

The couple will fly together at the end of March to Sydney Airport, back from Melbourne, where Zac filmed the Netflix series.
Vanessa was a regular at the various locations for the project, including during an abseiling session in the Blue Mountains of NSW on April 1, which is the last time the couple was seen together.

According to the publication, the American actor was ‘determined to make Vanessa Valladares a star’ in the upcoming show.
Late last year it was reported that Zac, who has lived in Australia for more than a year and is based in Byron Bay, could not have been happier with Vanessa.

The pair sparked rumors in October last year.
The actor apparently gave his girlfriend a ring made especially for her during his star-studded 33rd birthday bash, which Vanessa arranged.
A source told Woman’s Day at the time: ‘He gave it to her after the party – it was incredibly romantic.
