Andy Bogard was unveiled for King of Fighters 15 last week. Although we did not receive the ‘next week for more information’ at the end of the trailer, the expectations need not be disappointed this week, as SNK continues their tradition of releasing a new King of Fighters 15 trailer, continued every week.
As such, Yuri Sakazaki has now been unveiled for King of Fighters 15 thanks to the latest trailer.
She is the younger sister of Ryo Sakazaki, and is the first female practitioner of Kyokugenryu Karate – based on a real world battle called “Kyokushin Karate”.
During the trailer, Yuri Sakazaki demonstrates fiery abilities by hitting opponents with flaming projectiles up close. The trailer also shows that she has a deadly capital letter in her arsenal.
Although Yuri uses the lowest version of the Kyokugenryu Karate discipline, she rearranges the style to better suit her purpose. Many of her techniques have a flying motif for naming swallows.
At the end of the trailer, Yuri is not yet paired with two other characters. This means that we will only discover her canonical team in King of Fighters 15 in the coming weeks.
