You’ve never seen photos of the Apple Watch that look like this

A prototype version of the Apple Watch, in a special security case, was posted to Twitter by an account named Apple Demo (@AppleDemoYT). The prototype Apple Watch has an internal pre-WatchOS 1.0 build along with internal testing programs and development settings. One photo shows an FCC warning explaining that the device was not approved by the regulatory agency, meaning that it could not be sold or rented at that time until the watch had received such approval.
If you look at the prototype, one of the app icons is one with the yellow image of Lisa Simpson. According to Apple Demo, this is a clever reference to Apple’s Lisa computer and the app is used to test certain features of the watch. By the way, you might have noticed that the device does not have the Digital Crown at this point.
