TMZ has learned that YoungBoy Never Broke Again, real name Kentrell Gaulden, was arrested after a dramatic scene on Monday where he allegedly tried to evade the FBI and LAPD who pursued him due to an outstanding federal warrant.

When YoungBoy’s car was spotted, the FBI and LAPD tried to get him to pull over, but the situation only got worse. When his vehicle finally came to a stop, the rapper tried to get away on foot. A K-9 was deployed to find him, and a perimeter was set up to prevent him from getting out of their sight. Their efforts were successful, and he is currently under FBI surveillance.

It was reported in February that YoungBoy was under federal investigation after his September 2020 arrest on drug and firearms charges after police responded to reports that a large group of people were swinging guns while filming a music video. A total of 16 people were handcuffed that day.

Although marijuana, hydrocodone and several rifles and rifles were found at the scene, a representative of the rapper claimed that none of the drugs or weapons belonged to him. Since YoungBoy is a convicted criminal, he is prohibited from owning a firearm under state and federal laws. No formal charges were filed at the time of his arrest, and he was released on $ 75,000 bond.

A judge has ordered that a cashier’s check of $ 300,000 and more than $ 40,000 in cash, of which the rapper seized the scene, be returned to YoungBoy.

Yaya Mayweather, who has a child at YoungBoy, went to IG shortly after it was announced that the rapper had been arrested. “My day is completely ruined,” she wrote.
