In case ‘not getting a deadly virus’ is reason enough to give up your arm for a few doses of vaccine, Krispy Kreme wants to give you a little extra encouragement – in the form of free donuts all year round .
The company announced today that from now until the end of 2021, you can get a free original glazed donut when you show a valid vaccination card at any time, at any time and anywhere. You can go once a week, once a day, or visit several places on any given day, and they will keep handing it out.
With this offer, Krispy Kreme doubles its support to everyone involved in the fight against COVID-19. A company spokesman said the brand had also given away more than 30 million donuts to health workers, first responders, teachers, coaches and graduate seniors during the pandemic – with more on the way to health workers and volunteers helping to administer the vaccine then. And to encourage its own to get the chance, the company offers up to four hours of paid time to each employee to be vaccinated.
