Since Destruction of AllStars Released 72 hours ago for PlayStation 5, the game is plagued by reported cases of verbal harassment, exacerbated by a voice call that is turned on by default. Today, developer Lucid Games released a solution that switches the default chat to ‘off’.
Hotfix 1.2.2 “has disabled multiplayer voice communication for all players by default,” according to a tweet from the developer. Lucid Games also writes that he is “actively working to improve the polling system in the long term.”

Though disgusting and inexcusable, language like this is unfortunately part of online games. They usually only have tools to combat it.
