You have less than 24 hours to get the best Diablo result ever

The Epic Games Store is giving away one free game every day in December. The store window from Fortnite‘s creators have been doing this for over a week and are giving away some fantastic games like Alien isolation and Darkest dungeon. The free game for December 30 is Torch II from 11 a.m., but the price will disappear exactly 24 hours later. This is one of the best free Epic Games Store titles of the Christmas season yet, especially if you like dungeon crawler RPGs, such as Diablo, so you need to act fast.

Torch II was first released in 2012 by Runic Games as a sequel to a promising 2009 RPG. The game finally hit consoles in 2019. It built on the Diablolike the dungeon crawling formula of the first game and almost perfected it.

Players control one of four unique classes – Engineer, Outlander, Berserker and Embermage – and go on a journey to defeat The Alchemist, corrupted by an evil entity called the Ember Blight. From there, players can go through many procedure-generated dungeons, fight hordes of enemies and collect amazing loot along the way.

Although the game is pretty standard for the genre, battles remain super satisfying, though they are easy to pick up. The classes, especially the Engineer, also fall on other RPGs that fall into the same Dungeons & Dragons inspired classes.

After beating the story, which would take you about 20 hours, you will be forced to return just because of how simple it is to play, and that it can double or triple the playing time. The procedure generation stays fresh, and the loot is turned out very well to make late-game findings just as satisfying as early games.

Torch 2 supports cooperative multiplayer for up to 6 players as well. It was the first game in the series to do so, and this genre is at its best if you are able to play and share the experience with others. If you get some friends to use the game today as well, you may have found your next addictive multiplayer game.

Even after eight years and the release of a sequel, Torch 2 remains a fantastic dungeon RPG and the favorite of the series by fans. Torch 2 has even more positive reviews than Torch 3 on steam. If you’re a fan of RPGs but have never dipped your toes into this franchise, it’s better to try this free game rather than spend $ 19.99 or more on the sequel on another platform.

However, you only have a short window to use this game as it is only one day free in the Epic Games Store. The deal went live on Dec. 30 at 11 a.m. Eastern and will only be free until 11 a.m. Eastern on Dec. 31, where it will be replaced by the last free game of the Epic Game Store of the year.

A timeline in the Epic Games Store will show you how much time you have left to redeem it, but you need to act fast if you want to Torch 2. It’s well worth the time to use this game, if you enjoy entertaining dungeon crawlers.

Torch 2 is now available for PC, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
