GreedFall developer Spiders’ upcoming Steelrising project has an Alpha test you can sign up to join before it launches this spring.
The official Steam page links to the playtest login form that you must complete if you want to participate. The blog post there does mention that the places are ‘limited’, so if you are interested in seeing how the game plays out, you will want to step in as soon as possible.
The online play test will take place on Steam for 7 to 10 days in early March. In the form it is noted that if you are selected, you will need to sign an NDA and you will be contacted by email. So if you are selected from the people who apply, be careful not to say anything online or via social media about it, as it seems like experiences can not yet be communicated to the masses.
The official description gives a list of Steelrising as such:
“King Louis XVI’s automatic army terrorizes the citizens of Paris. Join the Revolution as Aegis, fight this reign of terror and try to change the course of history!”
There are still few details about the official launch date of the game or what it still offers. However, it was first announced during July 2020 during the Nacon Showcase. We know that you will take on the role of a vending machine called Aegis, who also happens to be the bodyguard of Queen Marie Antoinette. These details definitely make it sound like an interesting adventure.
