While it is easy to assume that obtaining the COVID vaccine will immediately offer new possibilities and enable you to avoid public health measures, this is not exactly the case. Health experts have warned that people receiving the vaccine should still follow most COVID precautions until the majority of the public is vaccinated. However, there is one thing that experts have confirmed that you can do safely again after getting the vaccine. Read on to find out what coronavirus precaution you can drop, and for more lifted restrictions, the CDC says you no longer need to do this once you have been vaccinated.

Doctor Kavita Patel, MD, which is among the Barack Obama administration, told CNBC that people who have been fully vaccinated may have small gatherings with other vaccinated. Patel said she plans to have small gatherings and see her parents shortly after she is fully vaccinated.

She noted that there are still risks associated with the collection. Once both parties have been fully vaccinated, Patel believes it is worth discussing these risks. “I feel comfortable having a small gathering … when we’ll all be vaccinated together,” she said. Patel noted that meetings will become more common over time. “As the months go by and more people are vaccinated in your household and possibly another household, such as your parents or grandparents, it can make smaller gatherings safer,” she said. “It’s something to look forward to because we’re been keeping some of us out for more than a year now to see older parents and family members at high risk.”

More vaccinations are around the corner, making the possibility of meetings feel on the horizon again. White House COVID Advisor Anthony Fauci, MD, recently said he expects it to be an “open season” for vaccinations by April. If Fauci’s prediction comes true, Patel believes more people can come together by the summer. And for more information on vaccination vaccines, you can be vaccinated at any walgreens by any date.

During an interview on February 11 Today, Fauci said once you have been vaccinated, you can see people – as long as they are also fully vaccinated. He said that once both parties got their shots, they could come together without a mask, embrace and continue to ‘withdraw from restrictions’. However, Fauci warned that both people, if one party is not vaccinated, should still take precautions when they see each other. Although the vaccine prevents one person from becoming physically ill, the person may unknowingly carry the virus into the nasopharynx and eventually infect the other. And for more expert insight, says dr. Fauci, you will easily make an appointment with a vaccine after this date.

Although you can safely hang out with other vaccines without worrying too much about public health measures, you should stay away from other COVID precautions, such as wearing a mask. “I’m still doing all the things we talked about – which we’m pretty tired of doing – until we have more data I can not give [the virus] to someone who has not yet been vaccinated, “Patel explained. And if you see it on your mask, the FDA says so immediately.
