The New York Yankees lost to the Tampa Bay Rays on Saturday, dropping them to 3-5 in the season after three straight losses. While it’s mostly just fans looking for change early in the year, the Yankees themselves have made a grid move after the game that will affect their starting rotation. This is because the Yankees chose the real Domingo German, who started Saturday’s game, for the alternative site.
No corresponding move was announced, but manager Aaron Boone told reporters that the Yankees will discuss the addition of a new reliever for Sunday’s final final.
German singled out Deivi Garcia for the fifth appetizer during spring training. In two outings, he allowed 12 hits and seven runs over seven frames.
