The Yankees are trying to fly Corey Kluber.
The two-time AL Cy Young Prize winner has agreed to a $ 11 million deal that will take him to The Bronx, The Post confirmed to Joel Sherman on Friday in anticipation of a physical case.
Kluber held a showcase on Wednesday after two seasons that caused injuries put question marks around him. The workout, held in a Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. Facility, led by Yankees Director of Health and Performance Eric Cressey.
Sources told The Post that Kluber threw 89-91 mph while throwing 30 stands in front of about 25 teams, including the Mets.
The 34-year-old referee has started eight times in the past two seasons, losing most of 2019 – his last season with the Indians – to a broken right arm, and was done by the shoulder problems after one innings with the Rangers.
Kluber worked with Cressey and Yankees coach Matt Blake in Cleveland. He will challenge for a place in a rotation with the garas Cole and several question marks.
