Xbox Live Gold subscribers have two new free games to download and play, thanks to Games With Gold. January is here, which means that Xbox Live Gold’s first free games of 2021 are also here. From now until the end of the month, all Xbox Live Gold subscribers can download and play Little nightmares, one of 2017’s best games and a game that gets a sequel next month. Meanwhile, the other free game The King of Fighters XIII, which was released more than a decade ago in 2010. The first is an Xbox One game that can be played on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S via backwards compatibility, while the latter is an Xbox 360 game that can be played on Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series can play. S via the same technology. That said, while Little nightmares is free all month, King of Fighters XIII is only free until January 15th.
As always, this free discount is limited to Xbox Live Gold subscribers and is a permanent download. In other words, once downloaded, both games are yours to keep forever, as long as you maintain an active subscription. If your subscription expires, you will be excluded from both games until you make a backup or a purchase.
Clearly the more striking game is here Little nightmares, which was released via Tarsier Studios and Bandai Namco under great praise and strong sales.
