Xbox Game Pass loses Death Squared and two more games

Just yesterday, five games were announced that they will be leaving Xbox Game Pass soon, and now it looks like there are a few more on the way. Three more games have been added to the Xbox Game Pass library’s coming soon ‘panel, including Death Squared for Xbox Game Pass console players, and Death’s Gambit and Reigns: Game of Thrones for Xbox Game Pass for PC players. All three leave in the next two weeks.

Death squared

Death Squared has an estimated completion time of about 8-10 hours, so it will not take you too long to finish with one of its 25 achievements – especially not if you use the excellent Death Squared run – although there is one buggy is performance you may need to watch out for. Death Squared is a collaborative puzzle game to guide your robot to its goal, strategize with other players to avoid traps and complete each puzzle. It’s leaving Xbox Game Pass in the next few weeks.

Both Death’s Gambit and Reigns: Game of Thrones are also leaving the Xbox Game Pass for PC library over the next two weeks. Reigns is a card and board game where you move through scenarios. It’s a different story than the show or books, because it’s based on Melisandre’s visions, so you can rule as a number of characters and change their stories. Death’s Gambit, meanwhile, is an action-packed RPG with platforming elements, where you play as an agent of death and fight to purify souls on a hostile medieval planet.

We have a few more new Xbox Game Pass arrivals to look forward to this month. Control joins Xbox Game Pass for PC this week, with Project Winter coming to Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass for PC on January 26, followed a few days later by The Medium on January 28. We’ll let you know when we hear what else Microsoft has in store for Xbox Game Pass in 2021.
