Xbox Game Pass April 2021 Games: Grand Theft Auto 5, MLB The Show 21

Xbox Game Pass subscribers will get it Grand Theft Auto 5 in April, with the published Sony MLB The Show 21, and another current sports title, EA Sports’ NHL 21.

Most of the new versions announced Tuesday are for Xbox One and Xbox Series X, with some available for PC and cloud games. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers get access to all the games.

GTA 5 was previously on Xbox Game Pass, but only briefly – from January to April 2020. MLB The Show 21, made by Sony San Diego Studio was announced in early April for Xbox One and Xbox Series X. NHL 21 joins the library via EA Play (meaning it is available to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers) about a month before the Stanley Cup playoffs begin.

Microsoft has also announced a change to the Xbox Game Pass menu in the console dashboard; it will now show friends who are currently playing Xbox Game Pass titles, and encourage users to jump in with it.

  • Zombie Army 4: Dead War (Cloud, console and computer) – April 8
  • DisneyLand Adventure (Cloud) – April 8
  • Stormloop: A Disney /Pixar Adventure (Cloud) – April 8
  • NHL 21 (Console) via EA Play – April 12
  • Rain on your parade (Cloud, console and computer) – April 15
  • Way (PC) – April 15
  • MLB The Show 21 (Cloud and console) – April 20
