Wyatt Pike breaks silence after unexpected American Idol exit

Wyatt Pike move on from American Idol for an important but private reason.

The singer, who captivated judges Lionel Richie, Katy Perry and Luke Bryan when he performed an original song dedicated to his sister during his audition, he hosted the top 16 in the competition Ryan Seacrest reveals that he surprisingly dropped out, citing ‘personal reasons’ for his retirement.

On April 14, Wyatt went to Instagram to break his silence about the program, but provided no additional details to leave American Idol so suddenly.

“I had to leave the @AmericanIdol competition for personal reasons, but am so grateful that I can play music for the rest of my life,” the 20-year-old said. “Fellow participants – miss you all, good luck! Thank you so much to everyone for the support … stay tuned for more musical stuff soon!”

In the comments section, many followers remarked that they were saddened by Wyatt’s decision, but said they would continue to support the artist in all his future endeavors.
