The next pay-per-view (PPV) on the WWE schedule is the Royal Rumble the event will take place on January 31, 2021 at the ThunderDome in Tropicana Field in St. Louis. Petersburg, Florida, the annual start of the year’s showcase with its most popular gimmick contest. It will claim the next number one for the Raw (World) or SmackDown (Universal) championship for men, and either the Raw or SmackDown women’s title for women.

We’re still a few weeks past showtime, and this is what has been set up so far:

  • Royal Rumble contest for men

Here’s who’s officially in the game from now on: Daniel Bryan, Bobby Lashley, Randy Orton, AJ Styles, Otis

  • Women’s Royal Rumble Contest

Here’s who’s officially in the game from now on: Nia Jax, Charlotte Flair, Bianca Belair, Bayley

  • Roman Reigns (c) vs. Adam Pearce (Universal Championship)

Reigns turned on Pearce strongly in light of the recent discussion, and then arranged for him to put himself in a Gauntlet contest to determine the next leading contender, and then he ensured he won the contest. This is how we challenged Adam Pearce in the year of our Lord 2021 for an important title in WWE.

WWE has not yet made it official, but Goldberg, who is challenging Drew McIntyre for the WWE Championship, is clearly planned, as set up on television last week.

Apollo Crews could be in the pipeline for another shot at Big E and the Intercontinental Championship, while The Street Profits could be in line for Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode for the SmackDown team. Not much else is currently being teased.
