WWE removes entire WrestleMania pay-per-view from WWE network

WWE has thousands of hours of content available on the WWE network. The content has just become more than four hours shorter because WrestleMania 24 is no longer available.

Fans who want to run through 37 WrestleMania on their way to WrestleMania 37 should skip 24 unless they already have it on DVD. The company collected the total pay-per-view from their WWE Network streaming service.

This pay-per-view featured Big Show vs Floyd Mayweather. Some believe that this removal is due to a lawsuit filed in 2013. As TMZ reported, Anthony Lawrence sued Dash Mayweather over the introductory music he used at WrestleMania. Money Mayweather used a track that, according to Dash, contained his beats that were used without permission.

WrestleMania 24 was a big night with Ric Flair vs. Shawn Michaels in The Nature Boy’s last WWE game. The Undertaker vs Edge also concluded the evening.

The event is no longer available. It will be interesting to see if WWE posts it again, and if Floyd Mayweather’s introductory music gets a modification.
