A woman accused of robbing four convenience stores in Chicago in less than an hour this week was held on $ 50,000 mortgage on Saturday.

Jessica Short 21, is charged with two counts of robbery with aggravating circumstances and two counts of robbery after she allegedly participated in the robberies of the four stores on Thursday morning. Police said Short, who allegedly drove a SUV from robbery to robbery, was also quoted as driving without a license.

Short, a resident of Belvidere, about 120 miles northwest of Chicago, allegedly committed the robberies with an unpaid accomplice, according to the Chicago Tribune. The police had no information about the person.

During the trial, Deputy Public Defender Courtney Smallwood told Susana Ortiz, Cook’s judge, that Short was not on trial for a case unrelated to the crimes during the robberies.
