A federal government found last fall that an average of one deaths occurred among every five residents with COVID-19 relief facilities in states that provided data. It can be compared to one death among the 40 people with the virus in the general population.

MADISON, Wis (AP) – Wisconsinites can sign up online later this month to get their coronavirus vaccine.

The state is working with Microsoft to set up an online sign-up system. Wisconsin Public Radio reports that the system launches Feb. 15 in ten communities.

The state’s plan is to use the communities as a test of the software before the system rolls out across the country.

Deputy Health Secretary Julie Willems Van Dijk says users will answer questions about their age and occupation to see if they are eligible. If not, they go on a waiting list to be notified when they are eligible.
