Winter Storm Warning for Most of Indiana – WISH-TV | Indianapolis News | Indiana Weather

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A very cold and snowy Monday morning with scattered snow this morning with temperatures in the lower teens and single digits. Sensitive temperatures will be below 0. Fall in snow should come to an end by morning.

The second round of snow will arrive by 13:00. Then we see the heaviest snow with an avalanche of 1 ″ -2 ″ per hour. The evening shuttle looks very cluttered with snow-covered roads and blowing snow. By midnight there should be 10 to 12 ″ of snow. Highest Monday will be cold with everyone in their teens with feeling temperature in the single digits. Lows will fall to the lower teens.

Tuesday morning it will be a hard drive. Expect to see some flags without congestion. The highlights will also be cold through the afternoon with everyone in their mid-teens. We will see an additional winter weather system later in the week with the highest Wednesday in the lower 20s, with our second snow system of the week approaching Wednesday and Thursday. We can add additional snowstorm to the mix on Thursday.

Snow will move from here on Friday with highs in the lower 20s. Temperatures will become warmer this weekend with a peak in the mid-30s on Saturday with partly cloudy skies. Sunday will see a light mix with highs continuing to climb to the top 30s. Gets colder on Monday with some light snow showers and highs in the lower 30s.
