Will Deshaun Watson ask for a trade?

The Texans have suggested that they listen to quarterback Deshaun Watson when they appoint a coach. But what if they end up not accepting the person he wants to lead?

Rumors are circulating, and we’ve heard it from various people that Watson quietly had the opportunity with the teammates to request a trade. If that happens, it can only be a strategic attempt to ensure that his view is respected by ownership. Either way, it raises interests and crosses a bridge, possibly laying the groundwork for Watson to finally decide he wants to pursue his career elsewhere.

We can already hear the reaction. ‘He had just signed a new contract, the capital charge would be paralyzing!

Look at the contract. If he trades, it will result in a capital cost of $ 21.6 million. The Herschel size draws concepts that would generate a Deshaun Watson trade would more than justify it.

It’s too early to think about where he could possibly be traded. It’s not too early to make a list of teams that will possibly beat him. The Patriots, Steelers, Colts, Raiders, Broncos, Washington, Eagles, Bears, Lions, Saints, Panthers, Falcons, Buccaneers (if Tom Brady is one and finished) and 49ers are the most obvious.

Other teams that do not seem to need a quarterback would be wise to at least consider the possibility of an upgrade.

While the Texans are deciding on their next coach (and it will likely be someone represented by Bob LaMonte, for reasons that will be addressed later today), you should keep an eye out for the possibility that Watson will respond by being privately and possibly publicly known to make sure he is ready to move on and pull out.
