Wii U receives its first firmware update since 2018

Well, here we are in 2021 – the 3DS has been discontinued and the focus is now entirely on the Switch, which is almost four years old. Despite everything that happens with its hybrid platform, it seems that Nintendo still has enough time in its busy schedule to update older systems.

In this particular case, we are talking about the Wii U. The system has just been updated for the first time since September 2018. The patch notes may not be that exciting, but they are an update for the Wii U in 2021.
