Initially, Kelly said she was too “embarrassed” to remove Benja as a new Facebook friend after she accidentally added him to the social networking site.

“I’m a clown with my phone, I do things while browsing that I do not realize,” she told SWNS. “He sent me a message saying ‘Sorry Yeah, I do not think I know you’ and I said ‘No, you’m not sorry, it must have been a mistake. ‘

“It’s just so weird – we live in this small town where everyone knows everyone – but we’re the only two who do not know each other,” Kelly said.

“It felt embarrassing – but we did not befriend each other”

Shortly afterwards, the two chatted and later hit it off. Benja writes a Facebook post about how hard it is to find authentic people these days, which struck a chord with Kelly and sparked a conversation that continued.

“It’s just so weird – we live in this small town where everyone knows everyone – but we’re the only two who do not know each other,” Kelly said. Although the two ‘very mutual friends’ share, they realized that they had probably never met before because of their age difference and that they had attended two different schools. The ties continued, and the couple even discovered that their father had already played in the same rugby team.

According to Kelly, she and her husband were reluctant to jump into anything too quickly after they were unmarried and focused on their children. Kelly has two daughters aged 14 and 18, while Benja’s daughter is 12.

Kelly put her heart on the game and decided to get together, and Kelly was fascinated from the start after meeting her future spectacle.

“I decided one evening to meet him for a chat and drove to his place. I was still wearing my comfies, so I really did not expect anything to come of it,” she told WalesOnline.

“We just sat in the car for centuries talking, and I liked what I heard. And from then on, we became inseparable – I really felt like I had found my soulmate.”

Shortly afterwards, the couple supported each other through two serious health concerns. Benja got an abscess in his throat due to a complication with tonsillitis, and Kelly defended a cancer scare after she found a lump in her breast.

Benja and Kelly are carrying each other through the difficult times and are now looking forward to a happy, healthy future together.

“I always tell him, ‘I’m surprised you’re not just here,’ ‘she joked. “But he has not, so fair play.”

Now the lovebirds are apparently planning to buy a house and get engaged soon.
