Why is my office free? Items that contribute to well-being in work spaces
If, for reasons of work, you have to pass the mayor’s part of your day inside an office, you are probably familiar with getting short days with unpaid holidays or unpaid calories. Some of our companions say that the office is an authentic sauna, others say that it is impossible to soberly live in a good place and have a cold factor. In the majority of cases, the debate over the ideal temperature never concludes in agreement, and including those who are more consensual than the media temperature should be air conditioned in order for everything to be comfortable. The fact is that the sensation of comfort varies a lot from one person to another and this is a problem in the shared spaces. The same thing happens with lighting. Have you ever been to a meeting room with light bulbs, or with a light bulb that you have felt uncomfortable with?
When thinking in the interior design of workhouses, come to mind the elements of work: organization, furniture, terminals, colors and any other aspect of the space that contributes to the General Experience. However, because it is very relevant that there are so many physical details on how to design workspaces, the conditions that actually exist in an office are the ideal place for employees to work if they are underestimated or disqualified.
In 2015, a survey revealed that 42% of workers in the United States felt that their work place was too cold, while 56% of those surveyed said that such work would take place in their work environments. Although technological advances allow us to control each time the mayor specifies the temperature of a space and modify it with only a pulsation, the problem of shared spaces is what is most difficult to determine which temperature should be ideal. In general, the greatest opposite of the opinions, it is a question of the selection for the determinant of the boy, the state of the comfort of the person, the location of the model and the matemáticos bastante anticuados, the definition of the ASHRAE 55, one of the building codes used in the United States, and also one of the most ancient. As the architects learn to calculate at the university, the model for evaluating the thermal comfort condition of a human being in a work area is based on relative dates if there is a male with trachea and corbata in his mechanically conditioned office. The problem, in my opinion quite obvio, is that not all workers are men, and less than all use trajan and corbata all the days. If we take into account the employees of a determined company, we see in this way, and the accounts of them do not work, although this model of calculation results in being defective and incoherent.
As important as feeling comfortable from the point of view of the temperature, the conditions of artificial illumination also form an important paper in the sensation of being at work. In a study published recently, the American Society of Interior Design revealed that more than 65% of workers are not satisfied with the lighting conditions of their work spaces. It is a very preoccupying statistic, even though the illumination has a significant impact on our productivity and only now, both in our physical and mental health. While the gaps that emit the sleepers of our suelenadors suelen are very strong and agotauras for our ojos, some other sources of light can occur directly in the circadian rhythm of our body, affecting the sueño or estimating our metabolism. Some designers prefer tones of light “more solid” or “more free”. Hecho is that the conditions of illumination of our vital spaces influence decisive manner in the form in which we feel and, consequently, in the manner in which we relate.
Entries What do we look for in the future? Do we ever have to discuss about the temperature of the office, or if we should discuss the loopholes and close the curtains? The answer to this question appears to be. Although more investigators are studying the forms in which the design influences the well-being, the happiness and productivity of the people in the work centers, we believe that we will finally reach this consensus. Technological advances also allow us to create more flexible settings depending on the temperature, which allows individuals to more easily adjust to the specific characteristics of each job. Also, the luminaire design has taken an eccentric exaggeration to a fundamental necessity, and each more professional decides to dedicate itself to this line of research and design, collaborating in the establishment of new estates. On the other hand, it’s just a question of time.
