“The viewFans got confused after Whoopi Goldberg on Friday offered to send co-host Sunny Hostin straight a gift for adults that might make her easier ‘Bridgerton“Misery.
It was announced earlier this week that Regé-Jean Page, who played Simon Bassett, or the Duke of Hastings, will not return. for Season 2 of the steamy Netflix hit.
This was apparently very sad news for Hostin, who said in the ABC daily program on Friday: “I’m burning for the Duke.”
With this knowledge in mind, Goldberg asks Hostin how she ‘holds up’.
“I’m not sure what stage of sadness I am in now,” Hostin began before Goldberg quickly cut her off.
“I can send you a vibrator,” Goldberg offered.
The reaction left most of Goldberg’s co – hosts laughing or gaping.
Meghan McCain was clearly uncomfortable by the comments, but Sara Haines was so tickled by Goldberg’s proposal that she lost it completely – and blew a raspberry as she fell in front of the camera.
Fans watching the segment also loved Goldberg’s gem.
Later, Goldberg also reported to Haines – who was also hot and bothered by the Duke of Hastings’ many sex scenes in the first season of ‘Bridgerton’. In response, Haines said her husband, Max Shifrin, was also upset about the Duke’s departure because his scenes ‘were really beneficial to us all’.
Still, it seemed like Haines’ perky statement was a bit TMI for Goldberg … who just a few moments before wanted to deliver dildos.
‘Right. “I’m just going to go here and get some sweets while you talk,” said the star of the “Sister Act.”
