April should be a good month for PS5 buyers in the UK. They still sell out incredibly fast, but there are not that many scalpers to contend with.

When are the next PS5 drops?
Since today is Easter Sunday and tomorrow is the Bank Holiday, no PS5 drop will happen until Tuesday.
According to @ Ps5Instant, Smyths can replenish their latest inventory at any time from Tuesday, with the words that they have 2,000 consoles ready to use.
They also claim that John Lewis has pallets with consoles in their warehouse, so we can expect them to be released soon.
It is known that GAME, Argos and Amazon are also all preparing for large stocks.
GAME’s and Argos’s are expected to be released sometime between April 8 and 14, and two Amazon shipments will take place during April.
The new console is becoming easier to get hold of as more and more players leave the market after securing their consoles, and inventory becomes larger and more frequent.
So we suggest keeping an eye on Smyths and John Lewis at the beginning of next week and then watching GAME and Argos by the end of the week.
Our best advice is to check these daily inventory updates and set up as many alerts as possible.
But if you now need a new console and can not wait for new stock, you have some options, although we do not recommend it.
CEX
CEX is a chain brand that sells used entertainment items of games, movies, computer parts, cell phones and more.
As a result, they do not have to follow pricing laws and can draft their own laws.
They do sell both versions of the PS5, but are willing to pay more than RRP for it.

Just like CEX, if you are willing to pay more than RRP and you do not mind if the box has been opened before, then Ebay is one place to consider.
One thing to note is that there is a risk associated with individual sellers, so be prepared before making a bid / purchase.
