New year, new console. Now in the third month of the PS5It would be nice if big retailers had stock, but unfortunately that is not the case. It’s really just a continuation of 2020, a year that was not good for players. Right now, the only consoles you can buy are inflated at retailers like eBay and StockX, which often have their retail price of $ 400 or $ 500.

Sony’s next generation console was launched in the US on November 12, but the stock could not match the demand. The PlayStation 5 sold out more or less immediately. Over the past few weeks we have seen a number of stock declines at major retailers, but it seems that few people have since managed to claim a console. ordinary users had to compete with bots and merchants.
Twitter can be a great resource for looking at inventory, but it is also an accusation of poor inventory management at Sony and major retailers. Today, for example, Twitter user @ PS5_Restockk warned players that stock was in stock at Best Buy, only to be flooded with answers that make it clear how frustrating the decline was until it sold out all too quickly.

The PS5 is available in two versions: a $ 500 Blu-ray Model, and an otherwise identical $ 400 digital version without a disc slot. At this point, people are happy to get their hands on it, but if you do not have a library of optical discs – for Blu-ray movies, used games or old PS4 games – we recommend you go with the $ 400 version.
