Where is the State of Ohio in the Final S&P 2020 Soccer Rankings for Colleges

By all accounts, the state of Ohio has had a very successful year. Yes, the benchmark involves a Big Ten Championship (check), the College Football Playoff (check) and a national championship (doh), but if we see how the Buckeyes did not even have to play, we will all take it.

It could have been an even special year if the state of Ohio had not seen an absolute buzz in the national championship game in Miami against Alabama. The Bucks were short-lived, but even with a full range of players, it was highly unlikely that OSU would beat one of the best college football teams I have ever personally seen.

That said, the latest S&P rankings are available, and we do not have to tell you who no. 1 is not, which belongs by a wide margin to the Crimson Tide. However, things were much closer to it. So where did Ohio State end up when it comes to the strength and predictive measure of a team in the future? Well, we’m glad you asked.
