Street Fighter 5 is still technically going through its biggest drought without a balance update in more than a year with the launch of Champion Edition, but that will change soon.
Season 5 is going to drop the new V-Shift mechanic and a slew of other changes later tonight / tomorrow on us, so let’s see how the final lists for Season 4 ended up compared to where we were last year.
The EventHubs community series list for SF5 has been in line with his top two for some time, while Akuma and Urien sit high and mighty, but they end the year with only a .2 difference between them.
It’s quite a stir from where we were when Rashid and Karin ruled the school at the end of Arcade Edition, but both have slipped quite a bit with the Kanzuki heir apparent barely cracking the top 10 yet.
Not many players have linked Poison as a dominant character in SF5 to iDom’s big Capcom Cup victory in 2019, but she has now gained much more respect after achieving overall number seven.
However, it is Birdie, who has apparently fallen farthest from grace, as he was top five at the end of season 3 and now barely crowded the top 20 after his nerves and many players no longer used him as solo head .
As for the two characters to continue at SF5 with the Champion Edition update, Seth is slowly climbing the ranks to finish in 14th place, which is really low compared to where most of the benefits place them, but Gill has virtually the opposite lane seen downwards. .
Where the game is going to be in season 5, everyone is still thinking, but most can probably agree that there will probably be some big changes on the horizon once the new update is in place.
With this new start for SF5, the EH list will also do the same, so you can start voting on your corresponding knowledge when you are comfortable doing so.
